Our new Shortage Analysis tool on the Market Details page displays your shrinkage data in one place.
This feature allows operators to track inventory variance and shrink loss across all products in a single market quickly. By calculating the loss amount against total market revenue, Seed Markets now provides a comprehensive view of inventory discrepancies. This instant insight eliminates the need for manual data analysis.

To access this new feature, click the Market List tab within Seed Markets. Select a market by clicking its Market ID. On the Market Detail page, click the new Shortage Analysis tab. Once there, you’ll see Total Market Revenue, Total Shrink Loss, and Total Shrink Percentage, along with Product Details for any items with inventory variance in the market.
Run a report by specifying a date range and checking which data fields you’d like to include: Item Code, Item Cost, and Items. Select Go to generate a more customized and detailed view. Then, print and share the report by exporting to Excel.

To create new markets with ease, click the Market List tab in Seed Markets. Click the new Import/Export Markets tab at the top of the page. Here, you can import completed Excel files and your markets will automatically be created.
